Production Diary

Friday 23rd June 2017

Today, we got put into our prelim groups.

Monday 26th June 2017

Today, we chose the song that we will be doing our preliminary task on. We decided to do Charlie Puth's song 'We Don't Talk Anymore'. We also all took screenshots of the music video and made a storyboard on Microsoft PowerPoint. We each did about 10 seconds if the video to make the process faster and more efficient.

Tuesday 27th June 2017

We got many of our tasks done today. Leah and Anneka planned the length pf all of the shots that will be needed in the music video. Anneka then wrote the prop and costume list, Leah updated the Production Diary and Harry filmed the skyline shots from the top of the school buildings. Anneka then made the shooting schedule. After school, Leah, Anneka and Harry went to Anneka's house and then Harry's house to film the shots. We managed to get all of the shots film in one evening.

Wednesday 28th June 2017

Today, we began editing the music video. We decided to edit both sides of the split screen on separate Macs and then put them together when they are finished. This way more than one person will be able to edit at one time and the overall editing process will be much more efficient. Leah and Anneka began editing, today.

Thursday 29th June 2017

We continued with the editing process today. Anneka and Harry edited on the Macs and Leah updated the production diary.

Friday 30th June 2017

Anneka and Harry edited the music video. Leah updated the production diary.

Monday 3rd July 2017

Anneka completed her editing last week, so this week we just had Harry completing his editing. Leah updated the production diary.

Tuesday 4th July 2017

Harry and Anneka transferred the finished video from one MAC to the other. They also began editing them together.

Wednesday 5th July 2017

Harry and Anneka edited the two videos together and exported the video.

Thursday 6th July 2017

Anneka uploaded the video onto YouTube. Leah updated the production diary. Leah, Harry and Anneka all answered the evaluation questions.
